The backstory.
BLOC Love started the way most real community work starts. A few people who cared, a group chat, and a list of families who needed something that week.
The care was never in question. The mission moved people. What it did not have was anything underneath it that could hold the weight of its own growth.

The situation.
Volunteers signed up in comment threads. Event logistics lived in someone's memory. Grant reporting meant reconstructing a year from screenshots.
When demand doubled, nothing broke loudly. It just got quietly heavier on the same few people, which is how good work ends.
What was built.
The volunteer, event, and resource systems underneath the mission. Intake became a form that routed to a role, not a person. Events got a repeatable production checklist with owners and lead times.
Resource distribution moved onto tracked records, so the story of who was served could be told with numbers instead of recollection.
The founders kept the vision. The structure carried the operations.
